Leggings are a staple in my wardrobe. I wear them almost EVERY day of the year. They're super comfy, with no fixed waist band or zip to dig into my tummy. Perfect for my apple shape.
I'm not a prude, but leggings give a little more modesty to ones legs. Besides the practical side, I think they add a touch of style. Yes I just called leggings stylish. On their own they're pretty basic. They have potential to dress up an outfit. Especially when you add boots.
I started wearing leggings as a way to add another layer to my outfit. During winter it gets rather cold in Geelong. As a Queenslander trying to acclimatise leggings were handy to have. I have three pairs of leggings in varying lengths. I even wear leggings to bed sometimes.
Do I recommend leggings? YES, because they're versatile. Wear them under a skirt or dress. I prefer to wear them under a long tunic top. This is what I typically look like at home.

DeleteYou rock your leggings so well. I felt I used to use leggings as a crutch and have tried to distance myself from them, but now after seeing this post I'm thinking maybe I should get back on board the leggings train x

DeleteI'm only a recent leggings wearer, and I don't know I took so long to add them to my wardrobe! They're so comfy, and you're right about the modesty issue. Love them and love your outfits too. Love that they can go from casual to glam.

DeleteWallpaper? No, but its meant to look that way. It's a 7 foot vinyl backdrop. So are the white floor boards. I bought them from Etsy. Had them imported, cost a fortune in postage! I really wanted that grungy damask wall paper look. I couldn't find anything like them in Oz.

ReplyDeleteHi Jacqui. Pockets with leggings, hadn't considered that. Maybe a light comfy jacket with pockets would suffice. I bought one like that from Autograph last week.
DeleteOh how I love leggings! I think they are comfier and warmer then stockings in the colder months too, which is always a plus for me! Your bottom outfit is what I generally look like at home too :D
