Aussie Curves - Knits

ProBlogger Training Event in Melbourne came and went. I'm still floating on a cloud. I'm thrilled that I went. Whilst I love social media, photography, and exploring my personal style. I have a message to share. When other Bloggers asked about my blog, the words excitedly came out of my mouth.

'My blog is a plus size body positive inspiration for women'

Is that even a "proper" sentence. It made me stop and think. Do I share this message effectively? Do my readers get what I'm about? Do you feel more confident about your curves after seeing me flaunt my size 20 apple shape body? How can I improve Inspired Wish for you?
.....Lots to ponder!

This weeks Aussie Curves challenge is 'knits'. I decided to wear a red cardy I bought this year from TS14+. It's cute, comfy and stylish. It does catch on a lot of things like kitchen draw handles, which is a bit of a pain. The black tank top I'm wearing by TS14+ is current season. I've got it in purple also. Perfect for layering. I recommend it! It's a great fit and I love the wide shoulder straps and the neckline.

    1. Thanks Omega, yes I was slow to add myself to the linky.

It's a weird kind of style, that necklace. I love wearing it though. It's a happy piece. Light and easy to add to an outfit. And ofcourse, it's a stunning red =)

  2. Your photos are always so gorgeous! I love you in red and your hair looks really great, have you had it layered more or something? I find you inspiring, I certainly find your blog to be body positive!

    1. Thanks Natalie, I love photography. Admittedly I have much to learn, I'm not sure how to do simple stuff like a white balance yet.

My hair was cut recently. She focused on 'making the ends more blunt to make the bottom heavier. The colour is more chocolate and less red. I used products, a thickener for the ends, mouse for body, and dust for grit at the roots. The body is achieved with a curling wand, The Perfect Curl by Remmington. (Dani shared a video about the wand). My hair has always had some layering.

  5. Red is SUCH a perfect colour for you. Love this look.

and yes, I do think you share that effectively. I do leave here inspired to take more beautiful photos, to style outfits a little differently and smiling because there's another voice in the world say who you are, right now, is more than ok. Big sentence, but yeah, that's what I think.

    1. Cool, will keep that in mind about the colour red. My hair is also now more chocolate (a sexier way to say brown) which I think also works for me.

Thanks, glad to know people do get what I'm about. I was starting to worry the message wasn't obvious enough. Something to fine tune going forward.

    1. Thanks Jacqui. It's funny I used to be very uncomfortable about picking accessories to wear. Sometimes they worked, most times they made me feel awkward. Focusing on accessories for a year has worked wonders. Now I feel confident in my selections. Yay go me! =)

    1. Equip was great in this case. It was a 3 pieces for $10 sale. Doesn't get much better than that!

  9. Wow, it is amazing, isn't it? It is nice to visit the store. I am wondering if the TS14+ fans have ever come across the facebook site called Motto. It goes up to size 20, but it is interesting how it is similar to TS14+ and it is nice to see how they put the outfits together and show them on ladies at the shops. I saw lots of things in Manuka lovely high fashion shops that are similar to the things in TS14+ etc.
