Aussie Curves - Purple

I thought there was a lot of purple in my wardrobe. It works really well with my dark hair. Turns out there's slim pickings. I'm a fan of the combo purple and teal. In this outfit I've paired purple and blue. Close enough.

Compared to recent weeks, today I'm a bit casual. That's real life. We wear various outfits. Be it work, socialising, or running errands. We're wearing what ever suits the task. I don't get around in edgy and glamorous outfits all the time (I wish). Spy me at the supermarket and I'll be more casual like this. Probably minus the curly hair style and eye liner.

A tee and shorts (or 3/4 pants) used to be my 'everyday' kind of outfit. That was 'til I recently discovered maxi dresses and wrap cardigans. But that's a post for another day.

Do you wear purple?

  1. I'm so a casual girl too, crop pants and a top and I'm gone... but it's seriously fun dressing up. You look great x

    1. Couldn't agree more. Casual outfits work a treat. But dressing up is lots of fun.

    1. Thank you. I felt very comfortable. Feeling comfortable meant it showed. And that's always a good thing.

    1. Thanks Norlin. Yes the colours go great together. Yes I did make the acetate bangle with embedded flowers. In 2010 Inspired Wish started as my jewellery brand. I bead, solder silver, pour resin and make my own silicon moulds. However, I'm all resin'ed out. There is so much labour involved in each piece. I still love it, but now I'd rather spend those hours with my camera. (Sorry). Try Etsy for something similar.

    1. Thanks Olivia, yes everyday outfits are a great inclusion. Life isn't all sequins. Though just give me a reason and I'll get my sparkle on!

    1. The shoes are awesome. A little tight around the toes when I walk around, so they're great standing or sitting shoes. Perfect for BBQ's. The hair, yes it was a little windy outside. Just the right amount to make my hair look awesome.

    1. Oh thank you Jocelyn. I usually refer to the shoes as my BBQ shoes. I like to be seen in them, but not walk very far in them.
